A Stranger – Short Fiction

He walked faster in the dark treading the path that he knew would take him to Sargon.

It shouldn’t take much time.

He grimaced thinking of the turn of events from the past week. Never again would he put his guard down and make the mistake that he did.

He resolve became stronger the more he thought about it.

He gripped the sword a tad tighter.
